A few corrections/observations to your post.

Sounds like the most they might do is throw you off SI.

Not likely, at least not for that reason.

>>I think sometimes you've got some intelligent things to say, and we need some more shorts on this thread to hear their analysis.

I think most would generally agree with you. It's the presentation that tends to rub folks wrong.

>>If you read the BOARDWALK article (which I don't think you've even read), you will see that the writer goes out of his way to be unbiased.

Boardwatch. Started out at a rag for BBS industry.

>>He was amazed by the results showing 56K better.

He was amazed at the results showing x2 consistently better than K56Flex.

<< Sounds like the law suit is getting to you. I wouldn't worry about it. Sounds like the most they might do is throw you off SI. >>

Nothing gets to me. I'm a trooper. "They"? You mean Osicom? They already have tried to do that, with varying success.

<< Back to your responce. If you can't believe anything about any article, then how do you get your position as a short? >>

I didn't say I didn't believe in any articles. I just don't rely on those magazines that rate the x2 here or the K56Flex there. Trade rag opinions usually have little effect on the stock price. There are better sources to gauge whether or not a stock is a good investment.

<< Hopefully, you've gone to college >>

Tried a few classes. Wasn't for me.

<< The main thing you're suppose to learn in college is the method of 'critical thinking'. That means that when you read an article on
56K or KFlex, you have a doubting attitude >>

I don't think you will find many people who claim that I don't have a doubting attitude. Aside from me and a few others, there weren't too many doubting attitudes around this thread 5 months ago.

<< If you read the BOARDWALK article (which I don't think you've even read), >>

Correct.

<< you will see that the writer goes out of his way to be unbiased >>

Maybe in your opinion. Besides, COMS could win every award and accolade in the industry and it still wouldn't make much difference to me. Shiva wins awards all the time for their products but their stock still goes down.

<< He also does a fairly methodical comparison between the 2 modem types >>

I've read two methodical comparisons that have arrived at totally different conclusions. You are free to believe what you want, I am free to believe what I want.

Your missing the point I'm trying to make. I don't care if COMS has the best modem technology or not. Their technology isn't what caused them to stumble for the past year. It was a number of factors, including asia, competition, poor business decisions, and their flawed business strategies.

<< It's the same with politics, you get your basic theory and
understanding from school >>

I don't. I learned very little from school. Maybe it was more suitable for you.
