Seeing as how Cenestin is made synthetically and not using pregnant mares, I would suspect that actual production cost would be pennies on the dollar. Granted, they will have to share some of the profit with Parke Davis if they are the ones marketing it, but still DRMD should see millions in profit if the drug goes through and is accepted in the medical community. Even though it won't be a true generic equivalent to Premarin, if Cenestin is allowed to use "alternative to Premarin" or something similar in its advertising, people will jumping on it like maggots on a rotting corpse...perhaps I should have used a better euphemism there, but you get the picture.
