True story. My parents (a long time ago) sold their trusty Opel. They sold it in the paper's classifieds and it was bought by a gentleman of Middle Eastern heritage. This was one of the first cars with a cruise control. There was some misunderstanding in the gentleman's mind about just how automatic this cruise control thing was. Apparently, he set the cruise, then leaned his seat back and promptly fell asleep.

Well, you can imagine the resulting crash. What I find amazing though, is that the gentleman came back to my parents and wanted his money back, because the car didn't drive itself.
