Jimmyo, I'm no expert on the cell phone antenna laws but aren't the local politicos preempted by federal law? I seem to recall a federal court reminding a local jurisdiction that they can't play NIMBY with cell sites. So let 'em huff and puff if that's what they need to do to raise campaign funds and get reelected but let 'em obey the law. Arnie, fighting against a cell site in my back yard :-)

It is a mystery about Stephen Allen, isn't it? Is there a place on the net where one can review all posting made by any one individual for SI? There is a place for newsgroups (alt., rec., etc.) where all of any individuals postings can be reviewed. It's called Dejanews. Once someone is at an author's post on this site, he is given an opportunity for what's called an "author profile", which enables the viewer to explore all posting the author has made on any of the several thousand newsgroups that are out there.
