I just received the TS 30 day trial..

I am convinced that Trade Station is worth it's weight in Gold for those who are investors or position or short term traders. However, i'm not so sure it's the best platform for daytrading.

Even with it's ability to scan real time do alarms and pager output, it is lacking THE TWO critical components so necessary for profitable day trading on the NASDAQ. One being Level II quotes and the other being the lack of a direct built in execution system.

After evaluating TS I have decided to go with MB Trading based on the Level II and lightening fast executions. The only drawback to MB trading, some would say, is that it is dependent on the internet. Well I accept this and understand that if problems arise with the internet provider I can still pick up the phone to exit my trade, which is what I would have to do anyway using TradeStation.

I use MetaStock for TA and end of day scans. I give it 5 stars. It does what it was designed to do flawlessly.

Anyway my conclusion is I have decided to return TradeStation and use MB Trading. For those investors who don't have to be concerned with the fastest executions available, I'm sure Trade Station is one of the very best platforms available.
