Hi Thread

I was just reading the last 2 days of posts here...

I'm a short and long term investor/trader in PFE...

With all due respect to everyone...PFE and this drug will be the single best performing stock in the drug sector in the next 2-5 years hands down...I firmly believe that this drug will become the largest selling drug of all time...

I bought the Leaps in PFE & will continue on all pullbacks to add to my position...I also have Apr calls the 85's and 90's, it;s a simple "homerun" stock...sure it may "sell on the news" but so what!!! and for how long!!! Folks, this stock IMO will run straight up to 120 and split before the end of this year...

And then when earnings start to flow in from sales of V, and according to all reports this baby is ready to ship NOW!!! the damn stock will run right thru the roof again!!! Another split in 99" bet on it...for a long term investor, it's a no brainer...you'll laugh all the way to the bank....It won't matter about other drugs coming out on the market, because PFE has the edge right now...as for VVUS, this drug will be just a memory, in short order...Remember this is just taking a pill, all other forms of MED products are negative to use for many men...

Hey buy the damn stock, buy the calls, buy the leaps, forget the noise, and market fluctuations, and enjoy the incredible ride of your life....

My Regards to all, Jerry

MisterED,

I'd like to pose a question to you. You mentioned that you might be
a little uncomfortable with a P/E of 54. I agree it certainly trades
at a premium to the rest of the sector, but what if our whole notion
of an appropriate P/E needs to be re-thought.

I mean what if this market just doesn't stop. This is just hypothetical and right off the top of my head, thinking out loud if
you will. But the market has been very nice for what 4, 5, 6 years
now, bull ahead, small pull back, bull ahead, small pull back, etc.
What if this just keeps up?

Thanks to the genius of Bill Clinton we have enjoyed an unprecedented
run of prosperity. The man in his infinite wisdom has sacrificed
himself for the American people. The boys in D.C. are so busy slinging arrows at each other they have totally forgotten to try and
manage the economy. Mr. Greenspan has been left to himself. God Bless
them all. What IF we would be so fortunate to have Ted Kennedy make
one last and successful run for prez in 2000 and be rewarded with
a Republican majority. Oh joy of joys, eight more years of unbridled
prosperity.

Back to my point. If this pattern continues for a few more years or
so won't we have to adjust all our measuring sticks upward? Won't
a P/E of 50 become commonplace and 100 be the iffy level? Again, I'm
just thinking out loud. Came to mind the other night when yet another
the Wisemen from The Street said another one of my fine companies was
overvalued. Of course it took a 10% hit. I now just have to wait for
his firm to load up and in sixty days put it on their strong buy list.

Anyway, I apologize to the Pfizer board for going off subject here
just had an idle thought.

Let's all enjoy the ride this month.
