Nicely put. HMO concept has become permanent fixture in American Landscape. The article proposes people are not happier but are not more sick due to HMOs. The author states that people are actually healthier than before.

The industry has lost money last year. Any new entrant faces high barriers to enter in this business. IMHO, the industry in general will eventually return to profitability. The real question is whether we have reached bottom? How much time will it take for turnaround?

Oxford's incremental cost of capital due to new pfd stock+debt financing will be $.80 per share. Oxford needs to create enough operating profits and cash flow for debt service and debt repayment. It also needs to grow at reasonable pace say @20%. This may take 3 years. We shall see.
