>>>It even tells me that success of MSFDC would help CKFR lift off.

I agree, a little competition is healthy, but at what point has MSFDC been enough competition to bring the market to full maturity? And will this sector ever be fully mature? This is anyone's guess. Clearly the industry is moving faster with MSFDC. I guess the question is, does the industry need the continual push from MSFDC, or are they moving on their own? (some of both, IMO)

>>>Every time I read that MSFDC failed, I feel that I have to wait with CKFR lift off a little bit longer. None of them can succeed on their own. Industry should succeed first.

I agree with you to a point. I feel what the Largest Banks are doing, will have more of an impact on the Industry than MSFDC. Pete mentioned in the last conference call, what he called 'Next Generation'. CheckFree is working with It's two Largest Banks (1 Integrion, 1 non-integrion) to create the next evolution in Home Banking (I assume, integrated presentment, etc.). I believe this will be the driving force behind the Industry, and not MSFDC.
