Bob,
Kind of old news. And it is also bad news for many bond traders. Lots of bond traders are scalpers and make their living between the bid offer spread. Electronic trading will narrow bid offers which is bad for anyone selling liquidity, bond traders included. I have already seen electronic trading decimate foreign exchange trading. This will be good for investors, derivative traders and proprietary traders; bad for sales people and market making traders. Mark will have a lot of company but hopefully Naxos will have made him wealthy by then.
