Joe Smith made three excellent points which tempered my initial
enthusiasm for taking a position in SEEC tomorrow. He said recent
dilution, carry-forward tax losses used up, and rising accounts
receivable will reduce this quarter's earnings report.

You countered cogently that accounts receivable are not rising as
a percentage of revenues. In other words, as sales have increased,
so have accounts receivable in direct proportion. Do you have any
views about the potential impact of Joe's other two points?

I suspect that Y2K remediation "body shops" like CBSL and IMRS
might begin to plateau, and stocks like ALYD and SEEC could soon
begin their run. SEEC is especially attractive to me because of its
testing tool -- AccuTest, I believe it's called. I just can't understand
why the stock is so battered. Then again, look at IMRS a few months
ago. I think I'm in for an initial position tomorrow.
