Hi Stonehenge. Orcl. I just decided to reduce my margin a bit and I bought Orcl in the 22 area and it seems to be stuck in the 29 area. I did not sell for any drastic reason. As a matter of fact I heard over the weekend again that Orcl is one of 4 cos. in that area that should be doing good. Who knows, it could be going up more now that I sold it. gg. I also listened to one of my more fav. analysts, can't think of his name right now, Brian something, and he said that CPQ is a great buy here. He says CPQ is out of favor with WS because they are buying DEC and WS does not quite understand why. He said: When you think that CPQ was 36 before that deal was announced and now it is only 23, you have to look at it as a great buy. He is putting a lot of his clients into CPQ. Within a year investors will be glad that they have CPQ. I told my daughter this morning to buy CPQ for my grandchildren. They have 12 to 1300 dollars right now (hm, that's more than I have in cash, gg) and they can buy 50 shares of CPQ with that. How can you beat that when they are only 5 and 7? And then I called her again and mentioned to her what I had just heard on Money Week on CNN. I can't wait 20 years and am on margin like you, so I will wait with buying CPQ until I see a move upwards. When I was out in Seattle we bought them some Intel. So now they have Intel, CPQ and MCD. Nice portfolio for that age. Ok, that should tell you that I am still bullish on Intel and CPQ. MCD my daughter did on her own, it's not a tech, gg. Intel is looking for 1 billion computers connected by the year 2003 or around that neighborhood, so techs should be doing great. Maybe a little slow right now but like I said yesterday: Their day in the sun will come again. This is the first time I have been on today and I have not even checked the net for news yet. It is my wife's birthday and I could not tie up the phone lines. gg. Sonny
