On the first right of refusal ITKG evaluates the technology to see if it has commercial applications. If they think it does they pay a small upfront amount of money ($3,000. I believe) and guarantee them a % of net sales of any product developed from that technology. If they don't like the technology it doesn't cost them a thing.

This is one of the great things about the company, they do not need a r&d department or BUDGET! They do assist the university with funding for further development of a product (i.e. the ctha) but some of this money comes from third parties who are interested in it like at&t and the government (look at the news releases).

It's my humble opinion that you will probable see ITKG's antenna unit and ias coming under one umbrella soon!
