Hi Duncan!!!

Yes, Stephanopoulos had a lot of interesting things to say. I think his remarks were, as usual, very objective, which means that they were surprisingly negative towards the Clinton camp, considering his former preeminence among the campers.

Steele was apparently paid off, according to George. And on 60 Minutes tonight Willey's reasons for writing those letters was clarified. She stated that Clinton was her best bet to get a job, and she wanted to stay in good favor with him, and put the incident behind her (I am paraphrasing here). That seems perfectly logical to me, at least.

Is someone singing that awful "Feelings" song when you come over here? I don't like that very much at all. But all I can hear are the tom toms and the plaintive wailing of pagans in heat. Perhaps we all have different sound tracks in our heads? But yes, please disregard any Muzak that is objectionable to you, and substitute something you find pleasant. I have been enjoying Natalie Merchant lately, myself. What would you like to hear right now?
