Nope, I'm not short INTC. Even though it looks weak, there are always people eager to buy INTC at lower prices. And they may get a boost when they introduce their next chip.

I've been short MU for about a week, and I shorted ALTR and XLNX after they popped from that ridiculous upgrade on Friday. I'm looking at ADI, but I haven't made up my mind there. The other tech stock I would like to short is GTW, but the possibility of a takeover or even a run-up on a rumor bothers me.

This "April window dressing" idea appears to be well touted by bulls

That has already pretty much happened. Managers don't want to appear any less than 100% participation in the rally in their Q1 report, so they've been busy putting cash to work. There might be a few more days of it, but I can't believe they have much cash left to spend.

Lots of short sellers (including me) have been waiting for this nonsense to end before getting brave again. :)
