"Many's the pessimist who got that way financing an optimist." Re names in the Spanish style; To take an example - Rafael Rodr¡guez Acosta; 'Rafael' is his 'nombre', or 'given/Christian name' we would say in English. 'Rodr¡guez is the 'apellido paterno', or 'surname' of his father. 'Acosta' is the 'apellido materno', or 'surname' of his mother. To use only one surname in the English style, use that of the father, in this case 'Rodr¡guez'. Another example - Carlos Salinas de Gortari is known as 'Salinas'. Ernesto Zedillo Ponce de Le¢n is known as 'Zedillo', etc. The mother's name lasts only the one generation. Re Roy Carson - we could remember that he is only an Irishman -g-. You could be right, his colourful and dramatic style could be a function of the medium. Likewise, imho, his spelling, we didn't all spend much time at Oxbridge. I have no problem with him making money from his subscribers, especially considering that I am not among them, this is far superior to making money by altering the 'news' to order, as a number of tout sheets do. The only factual error that I've noticed in Carson's stuff (mind you, I haven't watched it closely) has been his recent assertion that Rodr¡guez would face disciplinary action on his return to Venezuela. This is pretty clearly not true, and seemed obviously false when said, imho. He's just a dramatic kinda guy, which is not a crime anywhere. Your point, though - that it would be insane to base a trading decision solely on his information - is a good one. But lined up against Bishop and Grandich and Asensio and any number of tout sheets out there, he probably makes at least an average grade, and has better pictures of pretty ladies, imho. Your comments on the value of the stifling of dissent on the various threads are right on, imho, but I also question the value of the continuous negative postings by viper and the like which lack any useful information. The very existence of a 'Pro-KRY' forum, though, I agree, that is an absurdity and a good reason to question the mindset of those who would promote it."...it may just be an effect of the medium akin to what might occur when a child previously constrained to drawing with a pencil is presented with a box of Crayola crayons." Love it, it does my sole good - can you literally see me smirk? ;-) ............. buenas tardes ................. marcos
