You're absolutely right. He'll avoid cpq like the black plague (smart guy me thinks). But then again Coke's multiple is getting pretty lofty.

Right, but since he dumb a big part of McDonald's, maybe he has a lot of cash to invest.

Maybe he figures that at that level CPQ is a bargain

There is always a first time. If so, wouldn't it be smart for Mr. Buffet to start with a big brand co. that has been beaten down by the perception of its inability to digest DEC which is a big brand computer co of Mr. Buffet's era? I think he stands to make a ton of money with the immediate appreciation of the stock as a result of his entry into it. Think about it all on this thread, specially the shorts. Go CPQ with the Buffet knight riding gallantly and chomping shorts left and right. Now, this is wishful thinking.
