Are you basically saying that this company won't succeed, because they are too late to come to the market, and other companies with equal or better products are already entrenched?

Boy have I heard that before! <VBG> That is a quote directly out of the rule book as a "NEVER!NEVER!NEVER! rule". Any rep who believes that you can do your homework and make a decision for your clients is heading for failure. People like to make up their own minds. NO ONE likes to be told what to do especially not by a sales rep.

I know for a fact that the salesrep who says "Okay here is what is available. Product 1 through 5. Lets go through each of them and see what the differences are," is going to be successful. The reps who feel they "know it all" usually find themselves scratching their heads and wondering "What am I doing wrong?" Why am I so unsuccessful?"

No one can stagnate. A company like K & B has to put up something to get an "exclusive" and there had to be a reason why they took on AGTI's product. I'll bet its because they aren't happy with Fortunet, its product etc. Your statement, "Recently they have diversified their product offerings," confirms that at least to me. K&B; Bingo hall managers and charity operators all have to attract customers and unless they keep up with the new products they will be left far behind. These bingo halls have to attract customers too and they won't do it if they don't accept new and fresh equipment and ideas.

If K & B was indeed "just humoring" AGTI as your post hints, they sure wouldn't have agreed to go for an "exclusive" agreement. Do you think AGTI would agree to let K & B be their "exclusive" distributor without putting some major contractual quotas etc. on the agreement? No WAY!

The quotas etc usually are sugar coated and passed on down to the reps with lots of enticements to place the new product. Usually there is major kick-off presentation with incentives etc. to get the reps all fired up about the new company and product and that interest and excitement is passed on to the clients. That is what marketing is all about.

AGTI has spent a small fortune and many years in R & D to come out with a product that is cutting edge. Otherwise they wouldn't be attracting high quality people like Tom Nieman and signing agreements with successful companies like K&B Sales; Bingo Technologies Corporation and Sega.

After reading some of the recent posts, I hope you take my last post in the spirit it was intended. I, for one, welcome and appreciate your input and opinion.

While I rarely have the time to post on these threads, I do read and follow a large number of stock. It is usually pretty easy to see people's motivation, both good and bad. However, I must admit the fact that you state you are not a shareholder and felt a need to "enlighten" us does tend to make me wonder about your real reasons. Care to share them?
