I too was a shareholder at 12, actually it went a bit below 12.
But at that time, Intel was still eating VLSI's lunch and the
survival of the company was a slightly dubious proposition.

A lot has happened since then. Of course the risk w/semi's is
that any product can become commoditized, and usually does
over time. But there are so many uses for these things that have
only been dreamt of, and VLSI has proven itself fast to adapt.

This may take a while, but windows CE is just getting going, Asia
is still buying tons of cellular phones, and you know there's going
to be press releases about new Christmas stuff within the next
6 months or so.

I foresee a sleepy time on this thread till we get closer to earnings
