Are you bearish on MSFT by any chance? :-)

Truth be known, that's a good question. I am bearish on their tragic component technology versus Java's but if mature software companies are now trading at PEs of 20 and 30 then I guess Microsoft really is worth double any of them. That simple analogy has paid off handsomely for MSFT longs. My concern is that Office (50% of revenues) evaporates as a revenue source and sentiment changes based on Java's success. Those two factors are very real possibilities which could knock 25% off the stock, for starters. Short them and let me know what happens, I will support you -- in spirit:)'

Because the case will remain in Utah court, I give them better than 50% chance to win against MSFT.

Because:

a) The jury won't be drunk, as one would have to be to find in favor of Microsoft.
b) The jury will be populated with current and former Novell employees.
c) The judge's three year-old grandson will disprove all of Microsoft's claims by disabling Explorer in under 15 seconds.
