- This board is great. Before taking the plunge, could someone answer this:

1. Vivus (VVUS) - Apr98 12.5 calls are going for 3/8

2. VVUS stock trades around $10.50.

3. Here's I envision this unfolding - please correct as necessary

a. Buy 1,000 VVUS at 10 1/2 (cost: $10,500)
b. "Sell to Open Position" 1,000 calls at 3/8 (proceeds: $375)
c. Net cost to me is only $10,125 (10,500 - 375)

4. If VVUS goes to $12.5 by the 3rd Friday in April, someone will give me $12.5 per share for my shares.

5. Thanks.
c.
