Peace: My friend, That is just poor old Don Quixote charging one
more windmill..Reuters if it were to get to them would just
laugh at it. We have to let the old goat out once an while,
don't begrudge him some harmless fun.
What he rings the bell about is in the spirt of being helpful,
so he sees Reuters as the Titanic of the news service..with
all the same faults and controlled by the same much the same
sycophant personalities that launched the old ship and declared
her unsinkable..they are the same bunch of artificially pious
types with their insolent air of infallibility that has bestowed us
with many tradgedies and assumed only token responsibility for
them.

That the Don acts upset when he catches them in a lie,
is just to wake up some half asleep caught in the trance people
and tell them not to take every thing some news media or analcyst
writes as gospel, and in particularly Reuters.
In many ways they are like the Titanic you know.

I suppose so many people would belive it was the dumb ice bergs
fault the Titanic went down..or they may blame it all on Captain
Smith for steaming to fast for conditions ( but he was under
pressure to set a record you know )..push to no littel extent into
doing what any Captain knows he shouldn't by the same types
who push Reuters around. She is the Titanic..of the news service
I know of no other as large..or able to tell more people what
to think than Reuters..don't you think that should call for
some token of responsibility. They can not give Don Quixote an acceptable excuse for that artical he challaged.
No more than the Owners
and Captain of the Titanic could give me for her demise.
And knowing they had too few life boats when they left..ah
that's a real horror. But I doubt most land lubbers
could see it the way I do..most of them seem well not dumb,
but sort of brain washed ( if you are to carry one life boat
on a vessel you must carry enough for all, there can be no
privledged few under those cercumstances
no matter the
written law of any land, that is the law of the sea be it in
writing or not, grown people who don't wish to understand it should
be put to sea in icy water with out one. I could understand it
under war conditions or certain other extenuating circumstances, but
never with no exceptions could that include a commercial or for
profit enterprise, what they did was unexcuseable from the day
the ship left port.
..but the Don he sees that type thing happening even today and
in many ways and well I can't keep him penned up all the time.

Peace but at what price ?

Peace; CPQ..Reuters : I have some reservations about posting this to you but I think it is worth a note; It has to do with Reuters again..and CPQ.. the EC gave the ok today on the CPQ and DEC deal..if you care to check, Business Wire released it and had it on line,
over 1hr before Reuters.
--------------------------------
Business Wire stayed with Calling the European Commission just that.

Reuters danced between that and European Union of which the UK
really isn't..anyway the Business Wire release is more clear
to the point, and timly

------------------------
Business Wire 11:06 AM EST
Reuters 12:57 PM EST 1hr 51 min late..and why did they stall,
did some of them want to buy in before the release..
The timing of both CPQ and DEC going up leaves this late release by Reuters suspect.
---------------
I was wrong in thinking Yhoo gave Reuters an exclusive..as
Business Wire is on Yhoo..however the headlines seems to default to Reuters..if you Don't click on NEWs..even though Business Wire
had it first..it did not show up in the Headliners until
Reuters released it..1hr and 51 min late,
I suggest if your using YHOO and tracking
a stock not to count on the headliners..but click on news
as you may miss a timely update if you don't.
----------------------
Hope no one is offended but I still think Reuters SUCKS
