robert, I agree, be fully informed. Cert what you feel comfortable certing. The larger holders have spoken with on another. Each has come to their own individual decision. And it is being done. What effect it will have? Don't know. There will be much consolidation in the stock as the days pass. The weak will give way to those who might accumulate larger holdings. It is the certification of the large holders that must take place in order to make the most difference. We feel that there are a few other 100,000 share people who are making the same tough decissions for themselves right about now. Not to worry....things are good. The certifiton was a huge success. It has brought much attention to the issue of the short position in BANY. It will have an effect within a week if the stock has been borrowed short and the short position is not relieved by some type of massive selling of BANY back to the MM that is in trouble. It should also have an effect on a naked short position...as almost 1/2 the float will be gone....away. The larger holders should be in E-Mail contact with me. As larger holders emerge, it would be nice to track the number of shares held. My next post will be the final list. Those who are looking for inspiration.......may want to take a look at the shares. Posters on this thread own 1/2 the float and are buying more. Insiders and friendly longs own close to the other 1/2. The stock may be very thin in the world of market making. The stock had a very difficult time not flying away last Monday...when faced with strong buying. It would appear that there were no shares available at anywhere near the 25 cents, 30 cents, 35 cents, or even 40 cents, when the buy orders came in....or a MM had to cover.......LOL. Funny........6 or so "long" MMs......and none had the stock to sell? Hmmmm. When you take a look at the float numbers......and look at the events...well? The MMs may, in fact, be out of stock.......and a couple MMs may have very large short positions. If folks are buying......and nobody is selling....what stock is available will run out. How thin is the stock?....I think we will find that out too. bg
