Many of our drillers could easily break out of their trading ranges tomorrow. I could see NE closing at 32 as a possibility w/ oil making this kind of move.

THAT is a short squeeze. What it means, IMO, is that the futures will shoot beyond the supply/demand equilibrium to the upside. And that usually means oil prices will settle back eventually. It is quite possible that stock prices will follow the same pattern.
