Hi Toy Soldier,

The heck of it is that I'm pretty much in total agreement with your view of Novells products and the damage that Microsoft has done to a lot of good companies with better products. If I had my way Novell, Apple, Banyan, etc. would all take back what they have lost. I've read enough of the NT horror stories to have a laymans understanding of many of the issues you've brought up. From a personal standpoint, I'd love to see Novell succeed. As an investor, I have serious problems with declining revenue.

I currently hold 100 May 5 puts and 50 May 10 puts. The 5s were a long shot when I got them and they still are, although some of the implications of the law suit open up interesting possibilities. The 10s will either be in the money pretty quick or I may use them as a hedge against a straddle play of some kind. A lot depends on how long it takes the lemmings to reach the sea.

Regards,

Don
