Kirk, Thanks, I would assume the dividend distributions should be virtually the same also. The big distributions a lot of funds paid this year is making the idea of SPDRs and even MDYs more attractive especially whesn you add real time trading and no annoying restrictions on moving money in and out.

Yes, SPYders are a better choice any day. IMO, most of the new money in the S&P 500 index funds is "jittery money" from people who got in there after saying, "Yes, give me the fund that was up 36% last year" (or 22% or 30%, depending on which of the last 3 years we are talking about).
