There is also a good book that list Venture Capital Firms by state.

It is called:
Venture Capital Handbook.
Written by David Gladstone
Published by Prentice Hall.

Should be available at any decent bookstore. I don't recall the price, probably about $20 bucks
It goes into alot of different aspects of how to aquire Venture Capital, but I though the list of Venture Capital firms was the most useful part of the book for this situation. (It has 40 pages of names/addresses/and Telephone numbers, listed by state.) The version I saw was copyrighted in 1988, but I would imagine there is a revised version with an updated list.
