Quarterly Windows Dressing Blues

I think we may have recently attracted some institutions that hoped for a run-up that never materialized, and now some of them may be cutting their losses temporarilly. The "good" news is that $8.50 seems to be a very solid bottom, considering where Intel & MSFT bought in, and just looking at the charts and so fourth. I sold my WAVO for now to take advantage of some pressing Short Sale opportunities, but hope to be back in a month from now. Since Windows'98 is not out till July, and WaveTop for Windows'95 is really a non event, I doubt I'll miss too much movement.

Also, it seems that once you "get over" the Free VBI push content feed aspect of WaveTop, there really is not much more to it. I have yet to see enough compelling content to get me to keep coming back to WaveTop instead of just getting on the Internet directly myself. So far most of the content is dominated by 3 major publishing companies peddling the online versions of newstand offerings, and many of the content providers listed in their earlier press release are still nowhere to be seen. In WaveTop's defense, we're still in Beta, and they may be saving the big guns for July. Also they HAVE stabilized the product considerably, and they HAVE stated they are focusing on content now, but I have yet to see much more of it. They really have to work harder on the Multi-Media side of content. You know, the kind of Web pages you'd never dream of visiting at only 33.6kb/sec, already to load off your Hard Drive from VBI. That's the type of stuff I'd click on WaveTop for, instead of taking my chances waiting for my data packets to hop around the World.
