stephen,
As I remember some one on this thread suggested with some bitterness that Compaq should give us PCs as a dividend. There was some brief discussion. Rumors like this indicate that facts have a hard time getting communicated without some spin being put on them. Some time it makes me wonder about the new information age. Hope they send PCs to Radio Shack.

Hitting the sack,
NW

S -- frightening thought. The last thing I want is a cpq computer with last year's specs. I've been to the Micron site designing my state of the art machine and they really make an incredible product. But hey, a free computer. How do you hook up multiple computers to the internet? Seriously, I cand just see cpq figuring out how many computers and monitors each shareholder gets depending on the number of shares owned. Maybe they would distribute "green stamps" and at the end of each fiscal year shareholders send them in for a product from the cpq prize book. du
