*OT* Thanks Erwin. We might add Gold and Copper mining to the list. Not interested in S. America - too unpredictable; or Steel - don't understand the cycle, but we're not near the beginning of a cycle as far as I can tell; bio-gen might be interesting, if you can avoid the shakey companies, but I don't know if this is the right timing just yet. Gold could be ready to turn, due to inflationary pressure brought by rising oil prices, if you have an iron constitution.

Shorting highfliers might be a better option at this point. For example, I still can't believe my eyes when I see AOL's valuation. Especially after Yahoo/MCI just announced a kidney punch to AOL. (Not that Yahoo is exactly cheap either). Either the street knows something we don't or there's some serious irresponsibility en masse out there.

What do you think of Gold mining ?

We should probably take this to some other forum at this point.
