You have thrown on this board a lot of " I think", " I guess", " I speculate ...".
You think I am well off base , pls tell me why you came to that "THINKING " !!!
Having lived in Hong Kong for many years did not qualify you as an analyst of computer
industry in Hong Kong. If you think yourself a specialist in local computer industry of Hong Kong, you must know that basically in Hong Kong there is no PC industry. Most of the memory, components and mother board came from Taiwan, and there is a gray market over there in Hong Kong which sells secondary components , memories. If you know Hong Kong , you probably know China too. You probably already heard that CPQ is #1 in PC business
in the China market , and DEC is closing its office in Bejim and layoff its local employee, and ready to be mergered with CPQ , and rumor from Bejim that DEC is to layoff 20000 of its employee. This is my first hand information from Bejim.
