General DataComm Announces Interoperability Testing Facility for 56 Kbps (V.90) Modems - 10:11 a.m. Mar 23, 1998 Eastern MIDDLEBURY, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 23, 1998--General DataComm, Inc. (NYSE:GDC) today announced that it has created an open interoperability testing facility for 56 Kbps modems based on the recently determined V.90 (V.pcm) standard. This facility will ensure that modems designed and manufactured by all companies are compliant with the V.90 standard.
