Now consider all the "Jews" in Israel today. Do they have their genealogy to prove that they are descended from Abraham?

Emile;

With all do respect Jews are a race of people. Do all Jews in Israel have 100% Jewish blood we all know that's not possible. I cannot talk to you without you throwing this Talmud in my face, I know what you are trying to say but no matter how you cut it you have a problem with Jewish people and are trying to blanket them with the Talmud which to me is a very weak defense of your agenda.

Israel is a Jewish State and whether 80% are Jewish or whatever the land is a land of Jews and no other. The Bible depicts that the Jews would be scattered and there would be a time when the Jews would be called back to there land from all corners of the earth and I know that you wish to take scripture and make it seem like it is the Christian church (please don't waste your time on it) I know that is not the case.

The 67 war was not fought by Christian's it was fought by Jews that were out numbered to a huge extreme yet they were victorious. We are approaching a time when all the Nations are going to turn their back on Israel and the armies of the world will violate it's land and when it seems that all is lost the Jews will be on their hands and knees then Yeshua will return and blood will flow as it has never flowed before. The true Christians will stand for Israel and will not be a part of the attempted destruction of Israel. Curse Israel and you will be cursed bless Israel and you will be blessed I strongly believe in this through scripture and in my spiritual discernment. My linage has nothing to do with my beliefs in regards to the Jewish people. It is my understanding of what scripture has conveyed to me as a believer in Gods total words Old and New that has directed my stance on this issue.

Alan

<<When God destroyed the Temple and the Israelite genealogies and all the Holy furniture in the Temple, both the Old Covenant religion was destroyed as well as the nation of Israel.>>

Actually it was when Jesus was on the cross and the veil of the temple was rent from the top to the bottom that the old covenant was destroyed.

From the time of the crucifixion to the destruction of the temple in 70 AD was a time of grace which all Jews should have taken full advantage of. The Church had to be established in Jerusalem because Jesus told them to tarry there until He said otherwise.

You simply cannot have the old existing with the new, so the old covenant was already abolished in the eyes of God. Unfortunately, as is the state with most men, tradition is a hard taskmaster. So hard that even up to this day some think they are doing God a favor by persecuting Christians.

The new church florished in Jerusalem until Jesus told Simeon, bishop of Jerusalem, the successor of St. James, to escape the city before that awful destruction took place. The people of the new covenant escaped with their lives while those who stuck to the old perished in a horrible fashion.

I sure don't know what all of what God's plans are, but I, as well as most of the church have their eyes on Jerusalem for good.

Hi Emile! That was an interesting post there.

Hey, I have a philosophical question that you might be able to shed some light on. A long time ago, (1966 to be precise) I got appendicitis. I got misdiagnosed at an emergency room (a Christian doctor) and was given pain medication. When the pain medication wore off after 4 hours, my appendix had burst. I was rushed to the hospital and underwent emergency surgery. The doctor that saved my life that day was a Jew.

If you had gotten appendicitis that day and needed an emergency appendectomy, that same doctor would undoubtedly have saved your life too. (I'll bet he would have done it even if he knew that you thought he was a "child of Satan".)

Here is my question: In your opinion, if that had happened, and he did save your life, would he have performed an evil act or a good act?

thanks much,

pete
