Here is what I have noticed in my travels: a person that spends all his time paying attention to bad things eventually turns bad. That's why I don't like television very much. I cannot turn that damned thing on without seeing guns, violence, and psychosis. It is really amazing. Even the kids' shows are violent. I've met a few people that claimed they were talking to God; that's OK with me. I've met a few that claimed God was talking to them, and that's OK too. I've met a few that claimed that God talked to them, and that I needed to listen to them to understand what God wanted to tell me. That's where I have to draw the line. When somebody judges me evil because I can remember a past life and conclude that I myself am spiritual in nature, I know where that judgement is coming from. And it sure as hell is not coming from God.
