Crude Falls on Skepticism Over Production Cuts: Energy Markets
Crude oil fell more than 2 percent on skepticism that all 13 of the world's oil producers who have pledged to cut production to boost prices will follow through on their promises. The 13 producers who have committed to curbing supply have pledged cuts of at least 1.3 million barrels a day, or 1.7 percent of world supply. Even if those cuts are made, the world still may be oversupplied with crude. Analysts estimate that as much as 2.5 million barrels a day are going into storage.
