If you are short the stock you will be
required to pay the apportioned distribution.

Not much short sale action. I checked but I can only get the numbers up to the end of February from the free www short site. Maybe in March the numbers picked up. If you call your broker he can advise or maybe somebody has a better www short site that can reveal March numbers.

Dr. John - Correct me if I am mistaken, but I thought it was against SEC rules to short a stock under $5. Maybe it's $3 (or maybe I am all together wrong). The short interest on such a security would be what remained from what was shorted when the stock was over $5. Does anyone out there know what the rule is on shorting low priced stocks?

Thanks
Dave
