ghk: Re: pessimist ...

You may categorize me as a pessimist if you'd like. I prefer the term "realist", however.

I have been carrying on an email conversation with Bob Bemer since he sat in my living room while I was being given a demo of Vertex 2000. Having spent some time with him, and having corresponded over a period of time, I feel I have gained an understanding of what he means when he says something.

Bob is very careful about his characterizations of people and companies. He avoids negative overtones. He also tends to over emphasize positives. That's his nature.

His lack of highly positive comments regarding the TPI situation leads me to believe that all is not rosy.

That's one of the reasons I was questioning your source.

The other reason is that he mentioned to me that I'm the only person he has spoken to "several times" regarding TPI. Another person on this thread (other than you) has spoken with him, too.

Please forgive the intrusion. I was just trying to clarify your statements.

Regards,

TED

Here are the current Market Makers for TPII:

SHWD
WIEN
PGON
HRZG
FRAN
HILL
FAHN
NAWE
SHRP
GVRC
HJMC

And here are the KMGG Market Makers:

TSCO
SHWD
MASH
FRAN
MHMY
FAHN
DONC
NAWE
NITE
WIEN
ACAP
HILL
PGON
GVRC
SHRP
HRZG
CCCC
NAIB
DLCR

So, nine of the eleven TPII market makers also make a market in KMGG. The two exceptions are HILL and HJMC. Of the eleven, HJMC and GVRC are not really involved having the two lowest bid and two highest ask prices. I don't find any significance in this overlap since most Bulletin Board stocks are managed by the same basic group of market makers.

The TPII price crash this afternoon looked to be more the work of someone deliberately selling into the rising price. The sells were mostly blocks of 5000 shares. This is a very common tactic. You start seeing a steady stream of 5000 share sell orders placed every couple of minutes and you know someone is working hard to hold the price down. With other stocks, blocks of 2500 is sufficient. There is another issue to consider also. Don't lose sight of the fact that Kernaghan is more than likely overhanging the market with lots of shares to dump. If that assumption is correct, there will be selling every time a price increase happens. Today's action would appear to be someone else though working to ensure a price under 40-cents.
