Margaret, ****OTOTOTOTOTOTOT**** The age for play dough is usually when they stop putting things in their mouth 2 - 2 1/2. It's not toxic but yuck. Grandma has a little set they make cookies and put them in the oven. That was one of my favorite toys as a kid because there were always so many different things to make with the accessories and sometimes we made our own (playdough and accessories - cookie cutters are great). My little girl is 3 going on 13 <gg> She'll be 4 in July. It's true everything you did to your parents will come back to haunt you when you have children. <gg> She's kind of out grown Barney, now were into her Barbie dolls and Baby dolls. I don't like Barney much, grates on my nerves so I always pushed Sesame Street. Actually Ernie and Bert were her Favorites, Elmo was ok too though. About the only show she will sit still for is 'Magic School Bus'. Bubbles are great, my husband is famous for dragging lots along on family get togethers to entertain the kids (including himself). We have a few advanced (if you can call it that) bubble toys to make huge bubbles. The neighbors 15 year old thinks my hubby is Cool, since he is just one big KID. The sled run just melted on Saturday and I think he was more disappointed than my daughter. It almost looked like an official luge run at the Olympics. <gg> Another great thing is the paint with water books. The ones that have the colors right on the picture are the best, some have a little paint palette and those are a little messier and harder for little ones to understand. Tip though, tear the pages out otherwise they run into the next page. These are neat because they can handle a paint brush with plain water before they start coloring with crayons. Your going to have so much fun with your granddaughter!!! McDonalds is one of our favorite places to go in the winter and summer, since we can't go to the parks (cold or very hot). Yack at ya later!! Take Care Ann Wow, What's going on, Intel's not doing to well so far, Better go check for news. I sure like having the quotes at the bottom of the screen on SI.
