Last year, at around this time, the techs were hammered, only to recover a few weeks later.

When the analysts refocus their attention to tech, after the top in DOW industrials and transports, then we see solid returns to gains. There's a lot of small pieces of anecdotal and hard information that points to a solid quarter for DELL. Put it all together (and the analysts will, after they buy-back in), and the stock moves up.
