Cosmo: I have no idea how high it will go. All I can tell you it is my largest short position and the higher price makes it even more attractive. You must of course use your own judgement in deciding whether and when you want to short. BTW I don't expect stocks with significant institutional holding to go down before the end of March.

DRMD...So, anybody short this biotech this morning. Price is going sideways and looks like it might be supported by short covering.

Who knows. it might even pop up if Friday's 3 million shares don't start being sold....

Opinions?

Dr Cosmo: I found the following Barron's letter to the editor quite hilarious! I know you are a fan of Milken, I hope you don't take it the wrong way. Just an indication of slipping standards. We no longer care even about the President lying.

To the Editor
Is there any connection between the Beardstown Ladies Club (accused of padding its reported stock-market gains), Michael Milken (who just paid $47 million to settle a dispute with the SEC) and those NYSE floor brokers recently indicted on charges of illegal trading? Maybe Milken posts bail for the floor brokers, but if not, a weekly jail visit from the Ladies, complete with homemade soup and sandwiches, should appease everyone.
