Dr.Anderson is director of Gene Therapy Laboratories and a professor @ USC. He was the head of NIH for a # of years and is the editor-in-chief of Human Gene Therapy. I believe that he was one of the 1st to use the techniques of exvivo gene therapy (taking cells from the body, infecting them with virus, putting the infected/transduced cells back into the body). Basically, he is a big wig in the field. I think he founded GTI...which was bought out by Novartis.

@ the conference he basically said that he was going to pursue the goal of being a pioneer in inutero gene therapy.

I hope this helps.

Best of luck,

Where'd He Go?
