Humbly report, Krishna, TAVA is a plant systems integrator.

Please see planty2kone.com

In a nutshell, TAVA does not deal with microwave ovens, alarm clocks, VCR's or other end user products.

On the plant floor TAVA assesses the problem, reports on possible ways to proceed, and then it's up to the client to choose which route to go - fix or replace.

TAVA then advises, facilitates the remediation and/or the replacement of non-compliant systems, depending on the client's wishes.

That's my understanding.

Hope this helps,

Svejk

Why pay $4000 just to know if the chip in my system is Y2K compliant.

If you only had one chip, that would make sense. What if you have 25,000 chips?
From a dozen or so manufacturers, three of which have gone out of business?

And what if your microwave is out of warranty, and manufacturer says, "Sorry, call a repairman."

Who you gonna call? [for your oven factory, not for one oven, of course.] <gg>
