Is "window dressing" for mutual fund managers happening at the end of March? XOI has been slumping slowly for the last few hours, is this usual profit taking?

Second mouse...

Baird,

I certainly agree and would like to add that what we see today is not a one day phenomenon. We have seen an action by the oil producers which clearly improves the outlook for the oil services sector.

We all knew deep in our hearts that the long term fundamentals were here but the shorter term was cloudy and dire due to perceived risks of E&P cuts. Those risks are evaporating and soon the analysts and general financial press will be touting the sector.

The worm has turned. The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese. Some of us were a bit early chomping on that worm, and whoever buys in to the sector now is an intelligent second mouse.

(My last purchase was on 3/17, a week ago. When things were so dire and $10 oil was on everyone's lips.)
