Jacob,

I agree with your thoughts, with one possible exception and that is that I continue to feel the semi-equips will be troughing for the next few months. In other words, I see no rush to buy, still a period of risk. Asia will muddle through, IMO, but it will take them awhile to get back on their feet.

And, I don't buy the theory of a DRAM shortage anytime in the near future(at least not a shortage for longer than a few weeks). There is not enough skepticism, many people are expecting (hoping?) these stocks to move up, brokerage ratings are still too high, the fundamentals are weak and could easily weaken from here, IMO. Not sure if you saw this post from Mason. Kind of says it all, IMHO.
Especially the part where he talks about people clammering on about 193nm etc., new processes.
