>>When i get my Fuji film back, everything looks blue<<

Are you trying to take indoor pictures using outdoor film? Outdoor light is blue, and outdoor film is adjusted for this.

>>What is the difference between 1024x1024 camera ccd and a 600 dpi scan of a photograph?<<

The difference is the Source photo. A film photo will have much greater depth and detail than even a hi-res digital photo. The colors will also be much more faithful.

Digital cameras blow chunks. They are good as very expensive toys, or for putting images up quickly on a web site. But I have yet to see a digital camera that even remotely approaches the quality a $6 Wal-Mart disposable 35mm camera can deliver.
