As for that "how does the CD interface with radar ranges" question, I believe the CD doesn't just roam around electronically like the hardware installation Wizard in Win95.

In my understanding, part of the power of the Tava (online) database is that factory people can type the names of components in order to discover what parts are inside and their level of compliance.

This is why having experience in factory floor automation gives Tava a competitive advantage in the marketplace. It's not just the technology to diagnose, but an extensive (and growing) database of information about different products, chips, etc.

Just came upon an announcement of Embedded systems Conference in
Chicago, March 31-April 2. It would be a great place to collect
more primary research, I worked in semi industry many years, the
kinds of companies likely to attend would be VARS in the industry,
as well as companies manufacturing chips, devices, etc for that
market. Is anyone from Chicago going? The phone number for more
info is (888)239-5563.

Best regards,

Kathy
