Re PTUS: Lotta red ink in Y2k sector today. TSRI issued following statement and promptly tanked:

"At the present time, we have received less code from customers than we had expected based on clients' original
estimates. In addition we are experiencing more intense competition, which in turn, is creating a longer sales
cycle. Because of these factors, it is difficult to accurately predict near term revenues."

Now I don't think of TSRI as being a bellweather for anything. They seem to overstate the quality of their tools. But other tool cos followed to some extent, though some for different reasons, no doubt. Nevertheless, SEEC, ACLY, ALYD all down >a buck each. I don't know PTUS that well, but don't expect it to rebound right away with statements like that floating around

Best regards.
