Doug-- I've been recovering from a case of scaniosis with some R & R. I decided to go back and study some charts for the action of the Stoch 233, and all the wealth of information it provides. Here are some of my initial observations. They are not based on years of experience, but are open to correction and revision by others on this thread through mutual teaching! The stoch 233 provides excellent buy signals for the intermedidate term trader. --through stoch crossovers --breaking trend lines to the upside --breakouts above previous highs When it just sticks above 80(a nice situation), the 13,8,8 or 4,3,2 can help with the buy signals. Examples: RECY--Recent buy signal 3/20. The 13,8,8 cross over or 4,3,2 may be more timely when the crossover is very slow and shallow. AKLM--Crossing above 50 corresponded to MIMBO activity---how'd we miss that one? ADVS--Breakout of downtrending resistance gave initial signal 12/97, 4,3,2 gave the buy signal. AILP--Crossover 1/29/98 gave a buy signal ALI, ANLT--stays above 80, 4,3,2 gives buy signals APSG--Crossover on dip below 80 2/6/98 gives buy signal. Perhaps I've been using too many indicators--sometimes its better to get to know one family well. Ocote

To everyone I discovered this thread when I heard Doug is hot for RECY. It's moving, this morning it has topped it's high point for 98.
