You think Citizen only builds rinky dink devices?

Rocky

From the press release:

<<<Under the agreement announced today, Citizen will manufacture and market Iomega's new Clik! drives for use in its own portable electronic products and will sell Clik! drives to other original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and consumers worldwide. Additionally, the companies are working together to develop enhanced versions of Clik! drives.>>>

Sounds to me that products are in the works. Now that there is more than one supplier, other OEMs will be more likely to sign on.

We'll See

Zebedee

>>Citizen IS NOT an OEM.

Citizen is a licensee who will build their OWN Vapor! drives and try to sell them to Japanese companies.<<

Rocky -

Let me get this straight. Are you implying that since Citizen is not going to buy the drives from Iomega, and is instead going to invest millions in building their own manufacturing facilities, that Citizen's commitment to Clik! is not as significant as an OEM arrangement would be?

Is that it?

The REX Companion, franklin.com, is an example of the kind of "rinky dink" products Citizen manufactures.
