Thanks for your getting back to me, I really appreciate your comments. I'm a finance geek not a techie so don't be afraid to talk to me like I'm 5. If you don't mind, I have a couple of follow ups.

<The 15 or so Yago boxes today are limited in comparison to 3Com or Cisco products>

Compared to existing 3Com (Corebuilder 3500 Access Builder 9600?)& Cisco (??) layer 3 product, or installed router base. Also, "as compared" meaning "#instalations" or "features"?

<Yago box only capable of Ethernet while Cisco product also integrates ATM & FDDI>

Can Cisco deliver that today? Is the Aug 98 time frame different from what you know about CS' proposed routed WAN offerings to include PPP, Frame Relay in the second half of 98 followed by OC-3, OC-12 over SONET, and ATM (target ??) Is there any type of "premature opinion" in the industry on CS' WAN "promise"?

Comment on Secure Fast and AEOL vs LANE or MOPA over ATM?

Thanks again, I found your comments on Spectrum interesting. Reed did a bit of a retraction today on the possibility of a Spectrum spin off saying he would prefer some kind of "partnership". I think it's probably to late to undo the good the first statement did, but I find it interesting because it suggests to me that all is not well with the Nortel relationship. They are co-developers of Spectrum 5.0 are they not?

Cheers,
