That's funny - didn't bother my system.

Then again I am using a PII. Perhaps its something
particular to your K6. Try swapping out your chip
for a genuine Pentium. Should clear up your problem.

My Pentium 166 kept running. Hmmmmm. Maybe the problem is tied to a K6 yield issue.....;-)

Jim.....that message has been engineered into profile.
It is supposed to do that. Your drive is fine.
It executes a JAVA script that prints Error reading drive C:.
It scares the crap out those who venture in for the first time.
